Children. all of you! God.
So what. They guy actually bought the product! So whatever.
Welcome to the Maxwell world nickrenderer. What happened on another forum has no bearing here... at least not to me.
I also would have no problem 'trying' a copy of maxwell if I had any doubt what-so-ever. I generally REALLY like owning the software I use, but I've been burned a few times, so I don't have any problem trying out an eval copy before plunking my hard earned money down.
Besides, if the guy is a friend, he just visited and did some work... the license technically allows 4 CPUs... so what's the hairy chimp screaming all about?
I'm sure at this point NL would rather you try it out, become confident, and buy the thing, then sit back and "oh, looks good, but I cant buy it... I'm afraid to install it for 5 minutes to see if it actually is what it's cracked up to be.".
sheesh, sometimes people really need to chill.
(another note: if you don't own the thing, how does one acquire an update? So, sure you have a copy, but when the next beta version comes out, you will be seriously behind the times)
again, welcome nickrenderer
