yes, this is nature of glass if you want to see it unbiased really...
i can't promise anything but of course these will be optimized in the future.

MaxwellBench 1.0: 9.138018

Well, about this low benchmark...
It's not the benchmark of your hardware itself. (simply your computer)
It highly depends on your scene and this is why it's 9 here on this config.
And 9 seems like I made enough torture while setting up the scene :D
It's all about dielectrics under complex bounces.

Result:
You can only use MaxwellBench for comparing "the same scene" on different machines.

that's very interesting! does this mean that maxwellbench does tell us also something about how well the scene is optimized? please tell us more, maybe how this bench works internally - of course i understand that this probably is still in development, but it would be interesting to know what we can learn from this indication.
