hello, this is a little scene where I test different textures and lighting..

still long way to clear the N....e, but the longer the better... no?
I am thinking when totally furnished and lit, with a size tripled... I'll go on vacation early september... so I'll let it cook for 10 days... and we'll see...

in the middle I am installing... err... modeling a central fireplace...

i think that level of lighting is too low.. it seems like we are in a disco rather that in an appartament ... u need definetevely mor light which also would make the render faster
i dont like the red glow at all

thanks for your crits...

well this was a pure bad test...

the lights on the wall use a small low rez ball as an emitter... the red glow cmes from SSS... Is 1,0 the maximum ? not sure...

anyway I removed these lamps...

the light is low... but if I raise up the watts (30 watts per lamp), then it is not pretty...

well this was just a test...

BTW... nothing or so little changed from 20 to 35 hours...

not so bad the test ..on the contrary.... what is bad is the fact that improvements where shardly visible increasing the render time from 20 to 35 hours...
