Nice to know that there is a NFR version.
For me it's not so intrusive in comparison with Maya PLA one

Sorry for my ignorance

Can someone define NFR license for me?
OUr VIZ dept has purchased some copies but can not share.
If this turned out to be a way that I could play around with it, as well, it would be really nice.

Well, for me it would be OK for testing purposes if it were free.
Would avoid me having to beg the VIZ dept. to play with their copies while they are not running tests...

No, my department couldn't justify it but it would be still nice to be able to test it.
I asked, a while back, whether there were any plans to do a hallmarked demoware like Vray does but, at the time, I was told no.
This is why I would like to know what NFR is all about and whether it can be had.

nfr means not for resale. usually nfr licenses are non upgradable, but the application itself should be fully functional. this one looks more like a demo version.
