Based on other posts, the noise issue could be from the slats on the upper windows.

Basically , the slats or any kind of mini blind will explode render times, and produce a very grainy render... I 've had the same prob...

Yeap, I guess I'll try to render it without the blinds

I wonder if it would be faster (or lore noise free..) with an emitter placed far away instead of sun....
