Axe, I can't do that because we can't texture dielectrics, there is a smooth transition between the yellow and what's supposed to be violet but I kept desaturating it hoping it would make the tentacles clearer.

You could have made these tentacules SSS, but you said it did not work... why...? can you explain why...

They ARE sss all of the flower, except the red drops which are separate mesh and dielectric. For now though it is not possible to have a transparent textured object with Maxwell (think for example of camera film). I hope an improved sss will fix this soon.

aahhh this maybe why I could not have a white tranluscent plastic... it turn dark grey..... well, let's wait the new SSS then....
