Hello,

I use the fromz plug-in and never need to use studio (until now!) and thus am very unfamiliar with it.

I am trying to apply a decal (oval shape) that will span over a series of parts. Think of a decal that is applied over a door, the door casing and the wall, wrapping on the sides of the casing. Cubic mapping will work fine. I have created the MXM with the oval decal clipped.

How easy is this to do? Can I join all the object in studio and apply the decal once? The objects have different materials applied to them.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary

a screenshot would help, but it sounds like best thing to do is have it setup in your native 3d app (in your case form-z) and use studio for your lighting/material adjustments.... moving and grouping and joining objects in studio can cause all sorts of issues (not always, but more often than not)
