Hello everyone,

I thought I would share a little experiment I did. I took a Mac Pro (2007) and installed Ubuntu 9.04, Windows XP with Service Pack 3 and Mac OS X Leopard and ran a Maxwell scene (the benchwell one) on all of them to see the performance difference.

Turns out Maxwell in Ubuntu is indeed around 10% faster. If you are interested in the details please read them in my Linux section post:
