Just've noticed something interesting:
When moving or rotating an object, it's pivot is 'stuck' to it - so object coordinates change along with the pivot's.
But when I move/rotate object's pivot ONLY, how come the object coordinates change along with it, while the object itself isn't actually being rotated/moved?

my guess is that the location and rotation of an object is based on the pivot location in world space. Basically, Maxwell calculates how far away from 0,0,0 (x,y,z) an object's pivot is and that is the numbers you see in the xyz translation. If you move or rotate the pivot point of an object, the translation and rotation numbers are adjusted accordingly.

Just my theory though, i don't really know if that's correct in Maxwell.
