Hi Deflix I think You have to high absorption on leaves SSS material and to low Nd for "specular" layer on Your carpaint.

But I worship Your work, please share Your settings

I know all about it. The original idea of using a bsp type engine for arch vis was actually mine back in 94. I applied for a patent in 2000 (when i had the funds). Unfortunately for me a student wrote a paper on the self same thing 3 months prior to my regiserting the patent despite my having the idea years earlier - such is the luck of the draw - so the patent is void. Funny that 3 months is all it took to alter my future from one where I could have spent the rest of my days sipping mohitos on a beach in the maldives!
Anyway there are several issues with the workflow which remains to be addressed. Imagtp is a french outfit, who have licensed the cryengine2 for the task, but they are relative newcomers and are not yet versed in the in's and outs' of the process. In many ways the SOURCE engine (of half-life2 fame) is a better arch viz engine. I did a demo model made in Source when hl2 was released. and a similar model with the original quake engine - of a gallery, with material samples in a display case and various interactive elements also. I'll dig em up and post. The patent details are below if anyones interested.................

and the full patent is here : http://v3.espacenet.com/publicationDeta ... 5&KC=&FT=E

It would be a real shame if someone else (like imagtp) took authorship for something they didnt come up with in the first place - this happens all too often throughout history. The future of our industry is real-time --- just remember where you heard it first people!
