Next Limit is a business and we can’t release information too early for obvious reasons.
excuse me

Users ask simple questions such as: are you gonna support real time preview?, Procedurals ?, Single Plane SSS, Modo plugin, vue plugin, etc.
These are some of your customers wishes, which No One from NL bothers to answer.
So While NL can not deliver answers to simple wishes others reveal Tools sometimes entire Software they have into their pipeline.

Some examples below.

sorry but i agree 1000%
Procedurals are the thing i wait for more, they're not a new technology, au contraire, and how could it be harmful for NL to say they're on it? Fake SSS, same story... i forget now all the others things i need, but believe me that their miss make me use another renderer -> <- each time i must have them for my project
Tell me today it will be done in relative amount of time, and you'll never hear of me this way (what i dislike seriously)

hopefully never fake sss....!?
i dont use MW for having it ruined by fake elements...

proceduals woudl bevery fine though, but real good ones like in c4d or dark tree. also single surface sss (which can be physical) would be great.

i also lead a buisness and i very understand that NL cannot say such things. this only leads to serious problem, i am sure they say when it is possible.

cheers

Next Limit releases new version of it's revolutionary software

Today Next Limit Technologies announced the release of Maxwell Render Version 2.0 in limited quantities to preferred customers free of charge. One company spokesperson said,"We will release Version 2.0 to the public at a premium price point when it has been fully tested and no sooner, biatch." Also, when asked about bending to the will of the enormous mob that is also known as the Mawell Render Forum members, their reply was, "When monkeys fly out of our butts!"
Haha, you thought that was real at first, didn't you?
