I am reinstalling software on a fresh install of Win XP Pro and I cannot get
maxwell to recognize my license. I have an early license called (License.dat) In reinstalling my boot drive is now (H). I added the environmental variable to set the path to MAXWELL_ROOT and all seems to point to the (H) drive. I copied the tried copying the license to the
install folder. I do have the license at the root of H also and a copy in
another folder if that is causing a problem. I notice there is nothing in the
properties of the .dat to tell me it's a mw license but it's the one I've always used. I read the FAQ. and think I tried what was suggested.
Should I contact support on this? Very frustrating after so much trouble
with a virus caused problem. Thanks
