I've been following this thread and the one started here
http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... hp?t=25633 and have come up with a simple studio setup.
In hyltom's thread he very kindly posts his LDR environment map but mentions that it lacks the control of using the multilight option. So I threw together a quick 'box' with lights on all faces that allow you to adjust the lighting coming from any side.
NB: please excuse the simplicity of the stand-in model - it's just there to give the lights something to bounce off! Also, this is just a quick setup but because of the excellent multilight facility it has quite a lot of flexibility.
White Studio using hlytom's LDR env map ------vs------ my mulitlight setup

Obviously the advantage is, you can now adjust the lighting values after the render (only their intensity, not their colour - unless someone knows how to!?)

NB: the value of the Back light needs to be 200 in order for it to seamlessly blend into hyltom's superb white floor material. All 'lights' are emitters using a 64x64 pixel hdr map - it's a low res map but seems to work ok.

enjoy... (and post some renders if you use it!)
