Of course, still not fixed because they are busy with slowing down the interface and pushing users for OGL hardware. Who would feel uncomfortable about the major bug in reading JPEGs without color profile... What you see in below screenshot persists in CS4:

Any other application (IE, Mozilla, IrfanView, Blender, Corel Photopaint, Paint.NET etc.) can display this image properly like seen above in TIF window except dear Photoshop and interestingly dear ACDSee...
(*) These are JPEG files without color profile information and all JPEGs really don't have to have this tag. A JPEG saved by Maxwell Render is a good example. So, now can you imagine how many times you save
your render output in JPEG, retouched it with PS and damage.
P.S. Sorry for hijacking this Blender thread but as I mentioned Blender can display this JPEG properly, it's a good excuse.
