I have noticed that if I happen to stop a coop render while one of the nodes is in the process of saving it's mxi, the merged mxi gets that multicolor stripe. I suspect that's the cause but I'm not sure.

I suspected that this problem was being caused by my network traffic from the VoIP phones. I set up the two Mac's behind a switch and disconnected the switch from the rest of the network. The two Mac's were on their own little network.

Out of five renders run over the weekend two of them have the bands. There is no antivirus software and I did not stop the render early manually. I did set the renders up to go to a SL of 20 and a time max of 750 minutes. They made it to SL 18.3. I wonder of it is possible that the Manager is stopping the render when it hits 750 minutes and one of the nodes is writing an MXI?
