Hi all
just a quick kinda noob question, i rendered my scene at 1000 x 600, and my boss likes the size output but not the resolution. is their any way to change my camera settings to get for example 2000 x 1200 at the same size as the previous render?

thanks for the help

Render in high resolution and then adjust the image dpi in Photoshop. Render as high resolution as you can for best render output. Also, remember to save your render as an hdr file then convert down in Photoshop.

Hey Bubbaloo- you have to excuse my questions on this but.... why do you save as a hdr file?
Thanks

Maxwell's output is 32 bit. If you save to anything other than hdr, you are saving as an 8 bit image. Not good for smooth gradients.

Hey Bubaloo- Sorry for the simple question but again......

How do you save the render as an hdr? When I select the "Save Image" tab after my render is finished I get the option of saving as multiple type "..bmp, .tga, .jpg, png, .tif, ....etc"

I do not see the option of saving as .hdr. Am I following an incorrect path? Thanks for your reply.
