Hi again everyone, I am rendering a scene at a high resolution (3500 x 2145) my sample level is at 15.11 after 46 hours. It looks clean but on my lower resolution renders I render out to SL 18 or so.
I am wondering... how does the resolution influence sample level? The scene looks really clean- I think cleaner than my lower resolution scenes at higher SL's (or is this in my head
).
The scene consists of a couple of rings using only one complex ior for the diamonds, for the gold I used a preset metal with a scratch-map added.
For lighting I am using one large emitter plane with a .mxi texture and three small emitters made from spheres cut in half.
Any insight would be welcomed
.
Thanks in advance,
Cary
