after I upgraded tot 171, many things don't work anymore: render viewport, render region, blow up region etc.
I reinstalled 170, but the problems remained.
then I removed everything with maxwell and nextlimit in the users preferences folder (3 files in total), but problems remain.
did I forget anything? I know there used to be 5 or 6 prefs files in the "old days"...

I am on a tight deadline, so any help is greatly appreciated.

If you are on Windows try the RegCleaner or a similar tool to rework the registry and clean it of Nextlimit/Maxwell related links - and then reinstall Maxwell. That might help!?
