when i save an mxs file from the plugin (LW) and i open in mxst and render it says that the mxs doesnt exist
... any explanation?
i am in a hurry and should render

Hi giacob,

I have just installed Maxwell 1.7 on a new Vista Ultimate x64 machine and get the same error when trying to render the Simball and Cornell scenes that come with Maxwell. The solution for me was to simply open them in MXST and do a 'File > Save As' to a new file.

Maybe give that a try!

Does it happen with any scene or just a particular one? Does the title bar of your MXST say 1.7.0? What LW plug-in version are you using? Do you have objects with multiple surfaces?

i have many istances and object with multiple surface on the same mesh ... it render correctly if start the render with the plugin ( but i want to render other pov with mwst on other machine)i

There used to be a problem in the plug-in which caused objects with multiple surfaces to break Studio, but render correctly if opened directly in MXCL. However, this problem was fixed in 1.7. Can you confirm that you're running version 1.7.6 of the plug-in?
