Rhino 4.SR3, Maxwell 1.7.0, win2kSP4. Working off line.

The help file is available in the ‘Maxwell for Rhino 4’ directory. Setting the path in the ‘Scene Manage’>’Plugin help URL’ as ‘ …. Index.htm’. Click for next window calls up ‘File Type Image’ only window. Therefore, I am unable to access the help ‘Index htm’ file.
How can I correct this?
Another query – how can I set the rendering resolution.

Do you get the same thing if you just double-click on an .htm file in Explorer? Is it something similar to this?

Image

If so, your OS doesn't know what to do with an .htm file...you will need to:

- browse to any .htm file using Explorer
- right-click the icon and choose 'Open With'
- choose or locate your preferred web browser application
- make sure to check the box that says 'always use this program to open files of this type' (or similar) before clicking OK

I have not used it in a long time, so I am unsure of how this process may differ on w2k, but it should be something along these lines.

Regarding your second question, the rendering resolution is controlled by the parameters found in Scene Manager > Camera Settings > Image Output.

Thanks for the speedy reply and your answers. The help file opens normally in explore. It’s only from the plugin Scene Manager > Options > Plugin help URL that access is barred by requiring a file type image. The path to the help file -index.htm - is correct. I don't know how to change the plugin to call an htm type file rather than an image type.
This is not a serious problem so please don't waste time on this if there is no obvious solution. Thanks again for your help in this matter.
