Is that possible. I was rendering a scene and the benchmark was reading about ped115 when I stopped the rendering and resume it the bench mark jumped to 1854 and the samples started running faster. Is that real or its just a benchmark bug? I got so excite to see that kind of benchmark reading on my pc. However, the benchmark is decressing as the render progress to reach a similar ready as it started about 118.
Any explaination will be appreciated.

Benchmark is a result of render time and sample level.
If you resume a render that starts off at S.L. 14, then Maxwell thinks it has taken just a few seconds to reach S.L. 14, giving you a very high benchmark.
Resume render needs to know how much time has been put into a resumed render for it to give you a correct benchmark.
