Hi,
when I render an interior with a window I have to choices:
- a well illuminate room but a burned exterior
- a well illuminate exterior but a burned interior

Is there a way to see interior and exterior not like a photocamera but like the eyes do (without burned areas)?

thanx

Depending on the complexity of the scene I would render the internal scene and the external scene seperately (new file etc) use the Alpha's, and combine them both in Photoshop. Just a tip: for your external scene strip your internal model back to it's basics inc materials and concentrate on getting your lighting right externally. hope that helps!!
Also, try the Multilight/Emixer, adjust the environment externally to suit save out an image then do the same for the interior

When I send a render to our retouch department, I give them several F-stops from the MXI, with Burn set to 0.8 and then a version of each F-stop with burn set to 0.
You can do this in MXCL, once the render has completed.

They then use areas from each version to composite a final version in Photoshop.

That way you have much control over the final image, from just one render.

thanx to everybody,
Your tips will surely be very helpful.

But why does maxwell act as if it was a camera and not as our eyes?

because we all see things differently. at least this way we can blame the difference on the "camera". :?
