As you have noticed you can compose a material adding "basics" (which are like submaterials). The contribution of each basic is set by the weight value (a number between 0-1). Maxwell should normalize internally these valuescs to set the sum of all the weights to 1. In the current RC2 there is a bug and if the first basics has a weight with a value equal to 1, the rest of the weights are ignored. It is already fixed and in a few days you will have this feature working properly. Also textures will be working very soon to allow you to set this weight maps with textures so the power of this material system will be even bigger. We will provide full documentation about handling this materials very soon.

Juan

By the way i just get a problem with polygon, because i made a lighning plane for my night shot.

1- Is it possible to add a show normals option on polygons?
2- When having to rotate a plane, recentering or moving the pivot can be usefull

Otherwise RC2 start to rock  nextstep

You can already, from the object properties, Show Normals, you can also set the normals length.

But why are you asking this here? :P
