In my computer, a simple torus cannot be rendered well, when rendered with MW (this time I am using modo).
Below is the working view of modo 401 sp2,


And when I rendered the above torus, the result is...


Does anyone have the same problem ?

And, a bit more.
I simply can not go to the web page by clicking either of the 2 links as below.
(One link is from "CHECK FOR UPDATES", and the other is from "Maxwell Render Manual".)


Why?

(windows XP 64bit, CPU 2.0GB x2, Memory is more than 3 GB)
Modo version is 401 sp2
Maxwell render version is 2.0.1.

Hello,

The problem is probably because of the wrong light color values (internal bug). It is already fixed, in the next version it won't cause any problem.

Temporarily you can add your own mxm material to the modo light (select the light material item, in the Plug-in window click on Light Material +, and change material type from Material conversion to Replacement mxm, finally create or add your mxm emitter file.)

This is a modo plug-in bug, the plug-in sends wrong values to Maxwell Render.
