I can confirm the crash too on vista 64 with a roughness=1 in the Thin sss material.

Hope this bug will be fixed in the next patch.

i also had these crashe on winXP 64 but with a highe roughness values (99)

there is also the question if this low roughness is a must for the thinSSS or SSS.
at least i would expect the second layer to be highly "rough"
