You can move and rotate objects in Maxwell studio.
These commands works ok in case you first move the object and finnally rotate it. In case you use the rotate command first, you will have problems at the time you try to move it. Basically the object appears to be not rotated in the preview viewport, although the values in the objects parameters shows that it is in fact rotated. Just touching the numbers in the rotate box, corrects the object again, but it comes back to its unrotated position as soon as you try to move it again.

Ernesto I cannot reproduce it here, can you provide a list of exact short steps which leads to failure?
Thanks.

The procedure that I experimented is the following:
Created a group of objects (ctrl G) (the group contained many buildings) selected the group, rotated it numerically 180 degrees in the Objects parameters window, then moved picking the y axis with mouse. As soon as I picked it with the mouse cursor, it showed the group as if it was not rotated.
I moved it anyway, and checked in the Objects parameters window, and found the following contradiction: the parameters were OK, meaning the numbers showed a 180 degrees rotation, that was not being showed in the preview viewport. Then changed the rotation to zero, and then to 180 degrees again, and this fixed the problem.
I thought that it could be an open gl problem...

I tested it step by step.... it happens here too!
By the way, group command is not included in the history list, so, you can not undo it, you need to ungroup it.... i'll report it.

I have just posted an image in wip that highlights this problem (freeway service centre).
I had to move and rotate many cars in this scene which took several hours because of this bug.
Mac OSX.
I can confirm the following .
Rotating will reset any y axis changes.
Rotating after moving causes object to move to a new position.
Moving a rotated object resets or adjusts the rotation ammount.
After a save and reopen THE Y AXIS MODIFICATIONS are resetting to zero
OR read zero even though they have been altered.
