anybody has any experiences like this.

this was a simple test scene under cinema 4d exported to studio.
now first we have a preview render. everything looks fine...

but here is the render

lowering shutterspeed shows the whole geometry but still this strange artefact
Image

the scene is just a cube and a single flat emitter

if you want to give the scene a try

ah ok, so you know what it is. that´s good.
meanwhile is there a workaround to avoid this. or better do you know when this shows off?

It only happens when you have an emitter bigger than scene boundaries. Let's say, you only have this cube and it happens, but it you place a large ground, this bug won't occur. This was fixed until the last minute of release and it revealed back with a mistake during the final optimizations. So, it's under control and rarely existing bug which will be RIP with the patch.
