I'm getting rather embarrassed to not be able to report success with Maxwell . I downloaded the latest (RC3) and used exactly the same source FormZ model file which the Beta version was able to use and produce a decent rendering, but with RC3 I get a "Render Failed" every time I go to Maxwell render either within FZ or in Maxwell Studio.

Is anyone having better results with FZ/RC3?

Do you get that message after you've stopped a render or the render has run the duration? If so, it's just console feedback. The image is located where you indicated your output should go.

It starts to render (both inside FZ and MW Studio when I import the same file) and then almost immediately stops by itself and gives me the message "Render Failed".

I tried a simple box test and indeed RC3 does work but have to set a MW material to the box for it to render....did not have to do that in the Beta FZ Plugin version. That is probably why the FZ model/scene that worked in the beta does not work in the RC3 version. One of the HUGE advantages using the plugin is that of not having to reassign ALL the materials in a large model....very time consuming. Anyway, it looks like the FZ RC3 plugin does indeed work but needs EVERY material assigned to a Maxwell material (at least for the time being).
