i did a little sss test with maxwellZ:
here is the result, SL reached 13.51:
as you can see the sss with the maxwellZ is not working properly.
there is a visible difference between the tubes with sss and the one without, but for all different sss settings the tubes look almost similar.
the tubes are 5cm in diameter and the scene scale is 0.01. (which i only used because otherwise i only saw a subtle sss effect - so the maxwell thickness would be 0,5mm - which is very thin)
if i want to reproduce certain test series published here in the forum (thicknesses and sss values) i am not able to.
maybe there is a sss scale problem (that there is a different scale factor in sss between the different plugins ?)
btw i have noticed the same misbehaviour with the cinemaxwell plugin.
