Please give us a NickName tab in the Net Monitor and Manager#64976

It would help remember whose machine is whose if we had a description column so that we could recognize the Server machines by meaningful names rather than IP addresses.
Also, when adding a machine to the Manager, it would be nice to be able to use either the machine's IP address or it's network name.

I second that, I have a mini-renderfarm (almost micro-renderfarm), and the IP number of each CPU is given at start, they are dynamic (DHCP), so the IP is not the same as they were yesterday, only the Alias remain the same.

So now I need to know the IP number before I do nothing, and this is weird and a time loss for me.

Please allow net aliases please.

joie. I've looked at it again and right now there is a tab for a description but no way to input it, so I think they plan to implement that. You point out the need to be able to do it by either computer name or description, which also would be really helpful.
