I think the final plug-in for Cinemaxwell should be able to take my Cinema 4D materials (untouched without adding tags) into the Maxwell GUI and then those materials to be converted into Maxwell materials. I hope this makes sense.
The method I'm trying to explain works like the VectorWorks plug-in for Cinema 4D. All I do in VectorWorks is assign colours to objects and then Cinema 4D reads those colours as materials.
In other words, existing scenes with C4D materials can remain un-touched and Maxwell can take the existing materials and convert them to Maxwell Materials.
I think this is a good wish but others might object. Users out there-please let me know what's your feelings towards this.
