when i export scenes from 3d softwares with basic materials (one layer / one bsdf and textures only ); and i want use a material from library o website i need to recreate my material and create bsdfs and layers
it will better and easier if we can copy settings from material to material : layers + bsdfs and their settings (uv mapping ..etc) without textures

Actually, copy / paste settings info would be pretty handy. Right now it is more of a material based approach - so if you want to copy settings you just "Export" your material and import it where needed.

But I totally agree copying settings are pretty handy to have.
