Hi all,
Just wondering if its possible for the materials section of Studio to have the same sort of grouping system as objects do in the scene tree. I have had a few jobs with complex scenes that have become a bit hard to handle/manage, the ability to keep everything as tidy as possible would be a huge time (and stress!) saver.
Say you are creating an exterior arch vis scene, you have a house model, a car model and some plant models. It would be great to be able to create a group in the materials section specifically for the car model materials (which may have 5-10 materials), a group for the house materials (again may have 5-10 materials) and a group for the plants materials etc. A small example, but, the amount of materials used in a scene can build up quite quickly and having a grouping system for them could really help manage this.
Just thinking this could really help the (already excellent) UI along,
Cheers
Andrew.
