Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

With unbiased rendering reflection and reflection are kind of the same.

It is possible to render just reflections, it depends what your trying to do. you can use matte option in material editor to control where the alpha channel goes (put the matte object behind the glass), or maybe just make a reflective black material with no refraction. Or a glass material with no reflection.

In my experience this sort of compositing is quite easy to do in maxwell,... just needs a little experimentation.

hello Mihai
sorry for my language :)
i give you example i try it in actual competition
i create glass of water and square as source light
when i test render i see the reflection of the square in the glass so i hide it from refl/refr
and render again . glass don't reflect the square and don't affect refraction

So, is this a known issue?

Thanks a lot for your response, I will update and […]

did you tried luxCore?
