Hi everyone!
i just finished watching the new blenderguru tutorial on how to simulate a trail of sparks:
http://www.blenderguru.com/videos/how-to-make-sparks/
All the work around is easy to mimic using maxwell with Nildar's addon for blender (which i find and incredible piece of work), but there is only a small thing i cant figure out how to do. It looks like in blender there is this new node for particle systems which can change particle's color during their lifetime, its basically a color ramp. Im not sure if this already exists in other 3d packages such as 3dsmax (pretty sure it does) but, can this kind of node be applied to a maxwell emitter? can it be simulated in a different way? Nilda's addon doesnt support node editor yet so this is a question to see if i can expect this kind of support in the future.
i know its not the right forum for this thread but as there is any for blender...
Thanks
