Add "display states" functionality to MW Studio, similar to the display states in SolidWorks. This would allow the user to take a snapshot of the state of the current viewport. This shapshot would include the state of all parts in the scene (hidden vs shown, shading mode, display of normal vectors). It would also include the state of the global shading mode as well as all options shown on the "display" tab in the studio viewport (info, sky, grid, compass, region and UV sets). These display states are given a name and the user can switch between various states using a listbox at the top of the viewport.
It is common to have to hide parts in one area of the scene in order to work there. I find that I am often changing the settings mentioned above as I work with the scene. It would be nice to be able to capture these conditions so that the user can easily switch from one display state to another.
In addition, it would be nice to be able to tie the MW Fire preview to a particular display state, so that the user can do detail work without having unncessary parts in the way while the Fire preview shows the desired final view.
