Yo guys...

I often use Maya, Sketchup and MAx for work...

But i'm starting to be interested in Blender, more and more powerfull, toll free tool...

For now, blender render engine is poor, and altenative is Yafray... free too, but ok, not so high-end...

Maxwell for Blender could be a very cheap solution for freelancers...

NL dev team ? what do you think about that ?

I tried it a little for archviz work, but can't get the easy workflow i have with sketchup... any chance there is an architecture related tutorial that you know of? Sketchup is weak on selection tools and multiaple vertex/edge/face manipulation that i can really use in hexagon.

Hi Bakbek. i do not know of any archviz tutorial for hexagon, but believe me man, hexagon is going to be big, al least for me it was as easy as trying sketchup or archicad.

As an architect i can tell you that nothing will beat Archicad, but as sketchup, it is limited with tools to make smooth edges or to model a cellphone or a remote control, with hexagon it is easy.

I have tried and have install blender, but i hate reading manuals, with hexagon just try it a little bit and i find it super easy to model anything you can imagine. Sketchup is great on doing thing in a fast way, archicad can do thing faster but with more care to detail, and having hexagon just complimented my arsenal of easy tools to make my life easier.

best regards.
