i have the idea of direct printing drivers... without converting to rgb before - could there be any possibility of an increasing quality by printing directly from the whole range of wavelengths (...)?

With a regular printer you always have to convert into a printable format. So, most of the printer us CMYK output, (inkjet Laser/LED).

A color channel separated .PSD would be nice, for editing & post,
but for directly printing, i don´t think that this will bring improvements
