It would be the most powerfull cg hair/fur renders in the whole universe !!! I've tried it using polygon conversion but the mesh is too heavy for maya (OBJ : 1.5 Go for 70000 hairs, more than 20 Go Ram used to create the mesh). So, the idea is to convert guides into polygon at render time inside maxwell render.
