Could we please have a altitude sensitive physical sky model which changes depending on height above the sea level and also reflects the curvature of Earth the higher the altitude is ? that would be a very nice addition!

Wouldn't it be easier just to use a background image? I can't see the benefits of this being used all that much. That's just me though.
