I think it would be great to have procedural textures to be used in the several channels, No need to explain the advantages.
I don't know if this make any sense, but it would be nice to have multilevel layer system with hierarchy, so that the lower level can control the map blending with weightmap and the higher one can control any other material properties. even though might be dangerously complicated to manage.Hybaj wrote:Don't forget a blend map/mix map for combining different textures and of course a falloff map (like we have in max)!!
