Vue is a great app, but as others said, I don't think it is easy to make this plugin...
After all, what gives Vue images a great reality, is all that volumetric stuff, fog, clouds, haze etc and of course the infinite water and ground plane... Imagine how noisy would be to have the island and part of the land showing inside the sea... I think it would never clear up with Maxwell...

I don't know how to work with Mental Ray so Vue is not so useful, unless I use it as a backrgound and compose the final image in PSP.
