It seems to me that Maxwell should render an image of exposure values, sort of like an HDRI, and I should be able to decide what ISO I want to apply to the image after it is rendered.

jfrancis, right now you have the ability to interactively change the ISO settings, during rendering. What would be even better though is the ability to save in HDR format with built in fstops.
