Hack method, pitching the fog box at an angle (box scaled to be just beyond the cameras FOV),...choosing the angle as a control for the height falloff,.. I want to here more from Tom about this mapping to uv's thingy, is it sensible?

From what I tested transparency mapping looks strange, just to compare make scene with 0.003 density and 100% opaque and 0.015 density and 50% opaque. With opacity mapping you will just always have some transparency in the air regardless depth. It looks like opacity works not for one particle but for whole volumetric object. We just need mapping or falloff control for volumetric extension...
