Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

As sexy as the thin little dark gray scroll bars are, they are sometimes incredibly hard to see against the nearly-identical gray background color of most of the Maxwell interface.

And please don't advise me to calibrate my monitor ;)

I agree with you, hatts, I find the scroll bars to be useless. However, I found a work around you might like: you can "grab" the view port with the middle mouse button and drag it around. You can also use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom the view port in and out. Hope these tips help.

Fernando, the button color can be changed but doing so changes a lot more than just the scroll bars. Also, the scroll bars of the default color scheme are too thin and are very difficult to grab. It is interesting to note that if you turn off Classic look you get full width scroll bars but at the expense of having to set the colors for everything in the interface (unless you like all white!).

One further tip on using the mouse: you can also scroll the parameter windows up/down with the scroll wheel. But be careful. The scroll wheel also changes the value of the last parameter selected. To scroll the window you must click in an empty space first.

Thanks for the workarounds, unfortunately changing any default colors does far too much widespread change.

Scrolling the panels up and down is just asking for mistakes too (accidental changing of values)

hatts,

It's not as bad as I may have made it sound. You can always safely scroll the list windows (like the material and object lists) with the scroll wheel. For other windows if you hover over a blank area the cursor will be a 'hand' indicating it's safe to scroll or click-and-drag. If you are over a parameter box the cursor will indicate text input.

So, is this a known issue?

Thanks a lot for your response, I will update and […]

did you tried luxCore?
