Well, If the current beta engine supports a feature like this, I would welcome a "Force low quality" checkbox.
With low quality settings I could get a quite nice approximation of the scene in higher resolution in just minutes, now, Im unable to render a preview in short times, and I really miss my quick 10 minute, tuning renders.
Ok, we've got a preview area, but it is useless to examine finer details, especially when it domes to caustics.
