Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

I have been a Form-Z user for many years and have been using Blender to fill in the gaps that Form-Z has. Mainly Blender's great subdivision modeling, simulations and particle system.

The Blender community is huge! So I believe. The are currently Blender exporters for unbiased engines such as, Octane Render, LuxRender, and indigo. I would love to be able to use Maxwell with in Blender, not as an exporter to studio, but fully integrated like with Form-Z. My workflow now is if I need to generate something with the sim tools or the particle system, I have to export all that geometry into Form-Z and it really drags my computer down. But if Maxwell were integrated into Blender, than I could take advantage of Blenders particle instancing and such.

This would be so awesome for me and, as well as, for others I am sure.

Thanks,
Aaron

I think that we have to wait a little more that 2.5 api get stable: that means we have to wait Blender 2.6.
Don't worry, now is matter of months, I think... I hope ;)... that we could have something called 2.6 beta or similar this summer.

After is a must to have it :).

I fell really good in studio now and I don't think we need to port all studio features in Blender: but an exporter dealing with
instances
uv mapping
camera parameters
motion blur

is really needed!
The exporter as the previous post has now to be recompiled for the newer version of python and boost lib.

So, is this a known issue?

Thanks a lot for your response, I will update and […]

did you tried luxCore?
