Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

hi
I just thought that it would be very nice to pause rendering. I just realised it is possible to go to sleep mode (in OSX). Maxwell renders on when the computer is awake again. still, it would be great to pause rendering within mxcl.

At the beta version, we could pause and resume render.

but now we couldn't do it.

NL says that resume MXI will be back with free add-on.

but dunno when we could use it.

I think that Resume and HD properly working would be great for the next update.

I think that Resume and HD properly working would have been great to have got back 6 months ago. Now it would just be like a lover coming back after they had run off and had an affair for 12 months. "Bittersweet"

Seriously though, these are both non plugin issues, so I cannot begin to understand why we do not have at least resume render back. This is such an important function of a renderer of this nature and should be an easy thing to code into Maxwell again.

I have been here for two years giving them the benefit of the doubt. I don't know how much longer I can.

The following is a complete list of posts for the last five months from Victor during this most crucial time of us having our hands on release 1.1
Hmmm thanks.

There is an equivalent story with an arrow, isn't it? For the arrow to fly away 1 meter, it needs to reach 0.5 meter first, and 0.25m first, and 0.175m first, and so on ad infinitum...so the arrow bas ...

And finally this classic
Posted: Fri May 05, 2006 5:13 am Post subject: Maxwell 1.x in progress

We are working on the most important issues now in order to provide a more robust Maxwell 1.x update very soon, plus other 1.x promised features. We will be releasing 1.x updates more frequently
.

Now don't get me wrong, I have sat quiet without giving them a hard time for two years and I love maxwell and I want it to succeed, but I also need to know what the hell is going on, if I had been getting these constant updates or everything that should be working in release 1 was working, I would be very happy, but I don't know what the hell is going on with Maxwell and that is scary for my business. Remember we have businesses too, that's why we give you our money for your software.

Please this is way past ridiculous, at least give us info on what is in or out, fixed not fixed and look after your customers.

Ahh that's better, I feel like I told that ex lover just what I thought. Now I will probably go jump straight back into bed with her and put up with this for another two years, because she is beautiful.

So, is this a known issue?

Thanks a lot for your response, I will update and […]

did you tried luxCore?
