I have tried to follow the Maxwell Render tutorials on Digital Tutors. I have to say that I haven't enjoyed them that much so far. They seem a bit ad hoc/lightweight to me. I don't feel that concepts/ideas are explained. Rather, it's a bit of a button mash fest. I enjoyed the vtc tutorials more.

Digital tutors has barely anything for Maxwell. I would recommend them only if a person happens to have an account there already.

I don't think the DT guy knows much about Maxwell. I saw mistake after mistake in the partial tutorial I watched. He was just sort of fumbling around like a first time Maxwell user, figuring it out as he goes.

I agree with all that. I think that DT has strong tutorials on zbrush. But the Maxwell ones are weak. Maxwell's own online documentation is better.
