Since no one posted any photos of maxwell 2 RUNNING from the showcase floor of siggraph..
I'm thinking they didnt even have it running there.. maybe they just showed images and talked about it

I remeber reading "maxwell 2 to PREMIERE AT SIGGRAPH 09"

not much of a premiere if no ones talking about it... or seen it? or did they mean maxwell 2 @ siggraph 2010?
so anyone acctaually see it got to use/demo it(thats no a nextlimit developer/tester) at siggraph

or did they show renders?
kinda sucks not hearing anything from nextlimit its been over a week since siggraph and still no word..
or did i just miss an official thread posted about maxwell 2

Yes, they had it running. I was there and got a brief demo, but to be honest there wasn't much more shown than what is already in the previews. It's faster, the Maya integration is better, etc. I did get the feeling from the demos and the various users there though that the v2 release isn't too far off, for whatever thats worth.

and makes me feel way better too about release time..

and Awosme to hear bout maya intergration.. thats a #1 thingfor us (and thinsss)

I also hope the .r2 file system got replaced w something in the material gui

I wish they would have just record a screen cap of a display demo of it running and just releaseda Siggraph preview movie.. instead they just stay quite.. so weird .. and tough on customers.

so maybe well see something someday..
